Weka Mühendislik Generator Project

For Weka Mühendislik Mak. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., we designed a facility-specific backup power solution so that the company's machinery manufacturing and engineering activities could continue without being affected by power outages. After assessing the instantaneous energy demand of the production lines, control systems and workshop equipment, a 150 kVA Berksan generator with a Ricardo engine was identified as the most suitable solution, including the necessary safety margin.

The project began with an on-site survey to plan the generator's placement, exhaust routing, ventilation and cable paths. The enclosed generator unit was then delivered to the facility and positioned on the prepared foundation, while the electrical connections to the main panel and the automatic transfer infrastructure were carefully completed.

Following installation, load testing and commissioning were carried out to verify that the system engages automatically during grid interruptions. As a result, Weka Mühendislik can now sustain its production and engineering operations with an uninterrupted and reliable backup power source.
