KVKK Information Notice

This information notice has been prepared by Berksan Generator, acting as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). It informs you of the purposes and methods of processing of your personal data, and of your rights under the KVKK.

1. Data Controller

Acting as data controller under the KVKK, Berksan Generator is responsible for the lawful processing of customers' personal data.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

  • Identity information (name, surname, title)
  • Contact information (phone, email, address)
  • Customer transaction data (quotes, orders, contracts)
  • Legal transaction data (invoices, contract texts)
  • Transaction security data (IP, log records)

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Conducting sales of goods and services
  • Managing quotes, orders and contracts
  • Customer relations and after-sales technical support
  • Fulfilling financial and legal obligations
  • Ensuring the security of our website and digital channels

4. Method of Collection and Legal Basis

Your personal data is collected through forms on our website, email, phone calls and contracts signed in person. Data is processed based on the legal grounds set out in KVKK Article 5/2 — including the conclusion of a contract, fulfillment of legal obligations and legitimate interest.

5. Transfer of Data

Your personal data may be transferred to authorized public institutions when required by law, and to our business partners (shipping, logistics, payment infrastructure providers, legal counsel) where strictly necessary for service delivery, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

6. Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • To request information if it is processed
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
  • To know third parties to whom data has been transferred domestically or abroad
  • To request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate
  • To request erasure or destruction within the framework of KVKK Article 7
  • To object to outcomes that arise solely from automated analysis
  • To request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

7. How to Apply

You may submit requests regarding the rights above in writing to our company address with documents identifying you, or by email to info@berksanjenerator.com. Your requests will be concluded within 30 days at the latest, in accordance with KVKK Article 13/2.
