Şişli Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi Generator Project

For the İstanbul campus of Şişli Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi, we developed a tailored standby power solution so that education and public services would not be disrupted by power outages. The energy demand of the school's classrooms, laboratories and administrative units was assessed in detail, and a 70 kVA Berksan generator with a Yangdong engine was selected as the most suitable capacity for this load.

During the on-site phase, a survey was carried out to plan the placement area, exhaust and ventilation conditions, and the cabling route for the generator. The Berksan installation team safely lowered the canopy-enclosed unit onto its mounting point in the courtyard using a crane and lifting slings, after which the electrical connections and the automatic transfer panel were installed with great care.

During commissioning, the generator was tested under load to verify its start-up time on mains failure and its operational stability. As a result, Şişli Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi was delivered a reliable, continuous backup power source that keeps the school running without interruption during outages.
