For the Sina Park Sitesi residential complex in İstanbul, we designed a tailored standby power solution to keep residents' daily life running smoothly during grid outages. After assessing the loads of elevators, lighting, the hydrophore system and common areas, a 55 kVA Berksan generator powered by a Ricardo engine was selected as the most suitable choice to safely meet the complex's requirements.
The project began with an on-site survey and measurements; we identified an easily accessible location adjacent to the building façade that was also appropriate for exhaust discharge, then completed the placement and infrastructure preparation. Following the installation of the silent-canopy unit, the power, control and transfer connections were carried out meticulously, with cabling routed neatly and integrated into the panel.
During commissioning, the generator was tested under load, its automatic start and transfer functions were verified, and the necessary adjustments were made. As a result, Sina Park Sitesi now benefits from a reliable, uninterrupted standby power source that engages automatically whenever the mains supply fails.
