To keep the standby generator that Sancaktepe Municipality relies on for service continuity always ready to start, Berksan's field team carried out a comprehensive maintenance and service operation. This project did not involve the supply of a new generator; it focused on periodic maintenance to preserve the performance and reliability of the existing system.
The maintenance covered a detailed inspection of the engine, fuel system and electrical connections. The engine oil and oil filters were renewed, the fuel and air filters and the cooling system were checked, and the worn-out batteries were replaced with new ones. The oil, coolant and consumables used during the site visit were applied as each unit was serviced one by one.
After the checks, the generator was started and tested under load; its operating parameters and automatic-start function were verified. As a result, Sancaktepe Municipality's standby power system was handed back in fully operational condition, ready to engage reliably during any grid outage.
