Onkar Yapı İnşaat Generator Project

For Onkar Yapı İnşaat, which carries out construction and residential projects in Pendik, Istanbul, we prepared a tailored backup power solution to keep the project's critical loads supplied during power outages. Since keeping loads such as elevators, water booster pumps, common-area lighting and security systems running is essential for both occupant comfort and safety, the project's load profile was evaluated and a 45 kVA Berksan silent-canopy generator with a Ricardo engine was identified as the most suitable solution.

During the site survey, the placement area, exhaust routing, ventilation conditions and cable paths were examined to establish the layout plan. After production and final checks were completed at our factory, the unit was wrapped in stretch film and transported to the site in Pendik. Once the generator, with its sound-insulated anthracite canopy, had been positioned on the prepared base, the mechanical mounting, power cabling and automatic transfer switch (ATS) connections were completed with great care.

During commissioning, the generator was tested under load and its automatic start, load transfer and protection functions were verified. With the work completed in 2026, Onkar Yapı İnşaat now has a reliable backup power source capable of keeping the project's critical loads supplied without interruption, even during grid outages.
