Marmaray Lojistik Generator Project

For the transport and logistics operations of Marmaray Lojistik Nakl. Otom. İç ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. in İstanbul, a tailored backup power solution was developed to ensure uninterrupted operations. With heavy vehicle traffic, storage areas and administrative units on site, a reliable standby power system was planned so that potential grid outages would not disrupt the logistics flow.

Based on the facility's power profile and critical load analysis, a Berksan-branded, Ricardo-engine 75 kVA enclosed (canopy) generator was selected as the most suitable solution. Following an on-site survey, the generator's location, ventilation and exhaust conditions and electrical infrastructure were carefully assessed, after which the unit was precisely positioned at the designated installation point with forklift support.

After the electrical connections, transfer panel integration and commissioning tests carried out by the Berksan technical team were successfully completed, the system was tested under load and confirmed to operate correctly. As a result, Marmaray Lojistik now has a reliable and uninterrupted backup power source that allows operations to continue smoothly even during grid outages.
