Berksan delivered and commissioned a 200 kVA enclosed standby generator with Perkins and Ricardo engines for Kıbrıs Sevkiyatı's facility.
Solution implemented on site
To eliminate the disruptions that power outages can cause to the logistics and distribution operations of Kıbrıs Sevkiyatı, the Berksan engineering team designed a backup power solution tailored to the facility's load profile. Following a detailed needs assessment, a 200 kVA Berksan enclosed generator powered by Perkins and Ricardo engines was selected as the most suitable solution to securely supply the site's critical loads.
During the site survey, the placement area, exhaust and ventilation requirements, and electrical infrastructure were examined in detail; the foundation and cable routing for the unit were planned so as not to interrupt ongoing operations. Once delivered ready for shipment, the unit was carefully positioned after completing the mechanical installation, cabling, and panel connections.
At the commissioning stage, load tests and automatic transfer scenarios were carried out to verify the system's response and performance during a mains failure. As a result, Kıbrıs Sevkiyatı gained a reliable and uninterrupted backup power infrastructure that allows its shipping and distribution processes to continue without any interruption.
