For Kardeşler Market, operating in the Ataşehir district of Istanbul, we designed a tailored backup power solution so that critical loads such as refrigeration cabinets, checkout counters and lighting could keep running without being affected by mains outages. Since even short interruptions in the supermarket business can break the cold chain and halt sales operations, a Berksan silent-canopy diesel generator was selected as the most suitable solution.

During the site survey, the placement area, exhaust routing, ventilation requirements and cable paths were evaluated to establish the layout plan. Once the sound-insulated canopy unit was delivered to site, the mechanical mounting, power cabling and automatic transfer switch (ATS) connections were completed with great care.

During commissioning, the generator was tested under load and its automatic start, load transfer and protection functions were verified. With all checks successfully completed, Kardeşler Market Ataşehir gained a reliable backup power source that keeps its refrigeration and sales operations running uninterrupted even during grid outages.
