Japon Evler Sitesi Generator Project

As Berksan Jeneratör, we delivered a tailored standby power solution for the Japon Evler Sitesi residential complex in İstanbul, ensuring uninterrupted comfort for its common areas and apartments during power outages. The project began with an analysis of the site's critical loads, including shared lighting, elevators, the booster pump system and security equipment, allowing us to define the most suitable power requirement.

Following the load calculations, a 150 kVA Berksan canopy generator powered by a Ricardo engine was chosen as the ideal solution. During the site survey, the enclosed parking area was evaluated for placement and ventilation; the exhaust outlet, fuel line and electrical infrastructure were planned in harmony with the existing fire-suppression piping. Thanks to its sound-attenuated enclosure, the unit was positioned indoors without disturbing the residents.

During installation, the generator was mounted on anti-vibration pads, and the power cabling and automatic transfer switch (ATS) connections were completed with care. In the commissioning phase, load tests and mains-to-generator transfer trials were carried out successfully. As a result, Japon Evler Sitesi now benefits from a reliable, fully automatic standby power source that engages instantly whenever the grid fails.
