A 35 kVA Berksan generator with a Ricardo engine was installed and commissioned to provide uninterrupted standby power for Eak Elektrik Mühendislik's facility in İstanbul.
Solution implemented on site
For the İstanbul facility of Eak Elektrik Mühendislik, we designed a tailored solution to meet the reliable backup power needs essential to the company's electrical and engineering services. By assessing the site conditions and load profile, we determined the correct power class to seamlessly support the facility's critical loads during grid outages.
Following the survey and calculations, a 35 kVA Berksan generator paired with a Ricardo engine was selected as the most suitable solution. The enclosed, silent-type unit was placed on a solid stone-paved base in a location resistant to environmental factors and offering easy maintenance access, while the required infrastructure and cabling arrangements were carefully prepared.
After installation, the electrical connections, automatic transfer switch, and safety equipment were completed and the unit was commissioned. Following load tests and grid-failure scenario trials, the system was verified to operate at full capacity, delivering uninterrupted, continuous power to the operations of Eak Elektrik Mühendislik.
