Büyükada - Villa Generator Project

For a private villa located on Büyükada, part of Istanbul's Adalar district, we designed a tailored backup power solution so that essential household loads such as lighting, appliances and security systems could remain supplied during the grid outages experienced under island conditions. After evaluating the villa's power needs, a wheeled, portable-type Berksan generator that can easily be positioned in confined spaces was selected as the most suitable solution.

During the site survey, the placement area, ventilation conditions and cable routes were evaluated, and the marble-floored area at the villa entrance was found suitable for the installation. Once the yellow-tank, black-framed unit was placed in position, the power cabling was carried out and the connections to the automatic transfer panel mounted on the brick wall were completed with great care.

During commissioning, the generator was tested under load and its automatic start, load transfer and protection functions were verified. With all checks successfully completed, the residents of the villa gained a reliable backup power source that allows their daily life to continue uninterrupted even during grid outages on Büyükada.
