Aydın Huzur Evi Generator Project

For Aydın Huzur Evi, a care and residential facility serving elderly residents in Aydın, we designed a tailored backup power solution so that mains outages would not affect the comfort and safety of its residents. Since the lift, heating and cooling systems, lighting, hot water preparation and medical device loads all require an uninterrupted supply, the load profile was evaluated in detail and a 110 kVA Berksan silent-type generator powered by a Kofo engine was selected as the most suitable solution.

During the site survey, the placement area, exhaust routing, ventilation requirements and cable paths were evaluated to establish the layout plan. Once the sound-insulated canopy unit was positioned so as not to disturb the residents, the mechanical mounting, power cabling and automatic transfer switch (ATS) connections were completed with great care.

During commissioning, the generator was tested under load and its automatic start, load transfer and protection functions were verified. With the work completed in 2026, Aydın Huzur Evi gained a reliable backup power source that allows it to serve its residents safely and without interruption even during grid outages.
